Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Fuel Truck Driver to join our growing team in Foley, Alabama. This role involves local, same-day deliveries using 2,800-gallon multi-compartment fuel trucks to deliver fuel to construction equipment, generators, and fleet vehicles on job sites. Drivers are home daily and play a key role in keeping essential operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Operate 2,800-gallon multi-compartment fuel delivery trucks
- Load, transport, and deliver fuel to construction equipment, generators, and fleet vehicles
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and assist with truck upkeep
- Accurately complete delivery tickets and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures
- Communicate with dispatch and clients to ensure timely deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B or Class A license
- Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required
- Current TWIC card required
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
- Fuel delivery experience required
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating multi-compartment fuel trucks
- Familiarity with pump systems and ticketing software
